Mario Incudine
Undisputed protagonist of Sicilian popular art, singer and songwriter, actor, director, musician and author of soundtracks, Mario is one of the most representative characters of the new Italian world music.
Mario was conductor of the Ethno-Mediterranean Orchestra and of the Sete Luas Orkestra, a special production of the Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival, presided over by Nobel prize winners Dario Fo and Josè Saramago.
For his numerous concerts and theatrical works, Mario has collaborated with Andrea Camilleri, Moni Ovadia, Peppe Servillo, Eugenio Bennato, Ambrogio Sparagna, Lucilla Galeazzi, Nino Frassica, Mario Venuti, Tosca, Antonella Ruggiero and KaballĂ . Mario duetted with artists such as Francesco De Gregori, Lucio Dalla, Alessandro Haber and Francesco Di Giacomo.
Constantly engaged as a teacher, Mario has taught singing and acting at the National Academy of Ancient Drama in Syracuse and at the International Theater Center in Comiso, singing and music at the “Umberto Spadaro” School of Dramatic Art of the Teatro Stabile in Catania.
Mario has been teaching our workshops since the 2021 edition.
